 Hello Jorg and Fellow Members,

I am writing to you for letting you know please ad me to the Wensday Roster June 21 2023 to operate Analog besides my other Analog date on June 28 2023.

Please know for this additional date my arrival at the club will be delayed after Noon time as I am my Mom's driver to take her to the doctor's.
Mom is coming to the fair too.    Thank You Gary B

Hi Jorg,  is it possible to repair with a jumper wire?  How much track length is effected?

Because I prefer not to skid the wheels, cause flat spots and then have to spend $20-30 on replacement wheel sets.

Another possible option is to use DCC engines with CurrentKeeper to make it pass the dead section – 4 inches would be acceptable, but not 4 feet.

Subject: [HOscale] Fair is in full swing, trains are running

Hello folks,

The Alameda County Fair is upon us and our big focus for the next couple of weeks.

We got to do what we enjoy - running trains on our layout. And running they do.

The last two days we had some power pick up issues on the way to (passenger) and from (freight) Summit where some switches did not get power near their respective frogs. It stops single engine trains, multi units push through but each unit in the latch up also looses power for a brief moment.

Garon found a quick remedy: Use rubbing alcohol and wipe the track contact surfaces.

So far it worked.

If you have any observations or comments, please share.

Thanks for a great start,

See you at the fair.

Jorg
