First of all, I do not know about semi scale wheel sets. I use metal replacement wheel sets if the car didn't come with them already. In many instances I replace the entire truck with a new truck with metal wheels. Just depends. I have bunches of wheelless truck frames that I have accumulated over the years. I was just going through all my frames and wheel sets. Can't say I noticed any with different widths. I have not had any problems with my freight cars. Don't usually run any passenger stuff.
If anyone needs truck frames, wheel sets or complete trucks let me know. I might just have what you need.

Has anyone been running freight cars or passenger cars using semi scale wheels sets?
Standard NMRA wheel width is 0.110 inches and the semi scale are about 0.088. I’m curious if there are any trackage issues using these semi-scale wheels.
Thank you,
Tony
