Joel,  the best way to contact Athearn Parts is to email and follow-up with a phone call.   Calls are an issue since they are single threaded and you’ll have to leave a msg.  Chance of getting someone on first try is 0.01%.  Overall they have been very good.  Also,  have the part number you need  -always.    The part web site has never been updated since about 1997.



The truck part number is 25599



I looked closer at the club ACE cars – the truck design for the axle is similar to how they did the trucks on the Genesis models with rotating bearing caps.    The axles are larger diameter and the problem appears to be those snap fingers are very loose allowing the axle to come out of the slot.   Either they are really worn or the design should have been better.
