Hi Joel,  have you checked with Athearn Parts for replacement trucks?  If they wear out quickly then having extra on-hand would be good.

Oh great! Let's consider buying some with club funds. Athearn discontinued these and you can no longer get parts for them, outside of good luck on ebay. The trucks are not great, they connect to the axle with little clips that wear out and break. We're down to 3 club owned cars that are still serviceable.

That said, I think replacing them all with Amfleet trucks would be a way to go. They have interior bearings and look similiar, except without the big brake drums. I don't think most fair visitors can tell the difference.

If anyone is interested in Athearn ACE passenger cars,  I have these ones available.   I’ve never found the ACE locomotive for these.   New in box never run.
