I was only there until noon today and by the time I left, everything was
running great. However, there were a couple glitches earlier. Camera 5,
which gives you the view of the 35 switch area wasn't working on any
monitor. I didn't have time to fool with the connections, which hopefully
is the only problem. The turn table doesn't move. We also had the second
occurrence of an NCE throttle not responding while all the cell phone
operators had no problem. We had this problem last Friday where no NCE
throttles would work while the cell phones continued to work. Ernest had
the problem during the week. He tried three club throttles and his own, and
nothing would work. My throttle flat lined at speed step 28 today and would
not respond. Had to kill the block. After a couple minutes everything went
back to normal. Again the cell phone throttles were unaffected.

Ed, you may know more about the interface between the NCE throttles and the
cell phone throttles and the base station than anyone. We need someone who
knows this system to take a look at it and try to make sense out of it. We
may need to contact NCE to get their input. We cannot have this happening
during the fair. If needed, I can all NCE, but I don't consider myself to
be an expert on the system. Jere Ingram might also have some input. BTW,
the solution is not to use cell phone throttles only. Anyone, feel free to
chime in.

I almost forgot, the thunderstorm is plugged into the HO house light circuit
which is a problem when those lights are shut off (along with the
thunderstorm) and the color lights adjusted to give a night time lighting
scenario. We need to find another place to plug in the thunderstorm.

Better to find these issues now than during the fair.

Gary
