All,

My 20 cents (inflation of course) is that, stating that I am not an artist,
the clouds need to be higher and the buildings smaller, knowing that it is
only a mock up but felt it should be said.

Also, I wanted to bring up that if we put a city in the wall, then it
limits the possibilities for future changes potentially on that side of the
layout whereas if we put mountains, it keeps it open. I mention this
because I have been part of conversations with members and visitors of how
static our layout is. We have been discussing some changes, both small and
large and the technology of the hobby has been changing a lot and I'm
guessing will only exponentially change in the future. Perhaps we want to
make all decisions from now on with that in mind?

The membership already voted (no one was available to make any changes I
know) to use the cut outs of the layout as modules that could me modified
and/or replacements created to give the layout a fluidity and capability to
be changed as we saw fit for either special occasions and/or times of year.
This, in addition to the discussions of the DC/DCC wiring, operations and
additions of switching and related equipment, the 24hr clock system and
other upgrades, it seems we are headed to some major changes, whether we
like it or not?

I hope this makes sense and is both informative and useful.
