Hi Gary:
This is Lee, and what I have to say applies to Dean as well, as I didn't get to speak to him on Friday night. While I complained about not having a Analog day for the March Good Guys show, I've found out I have four of my five days signed up for the Fair to be Analog. I only have Digital on opening day. I've worked hard to get some good Digital motive power for the Fair, including the locomotives I wanted to run analog for the car show. While I will run whatever is required for the days, I'm signed up, I'm willing to run Digital on days that other people will be there, that would also be interested in running Digital, rather than Analog, that would be fine with me. The days that I will be there, besides opening day, will be Tuesdays 6/23, & 6/30, and Thursdays 6/25, and 7/2.
I hope this would work for the other people who are, or will be signed up for the days that I will be there.
Lee

I just got back in town and
looked at the schedule. Obviously we will have a serious problem if it stays
the way it is. I should be able to work most weekday evenings the first partial
week and the second week. Saturdays are also possibles. I am taking vacation
the last week of the fair and plan on spending quite a few shifts there during
that week. However, I'm a bit disappointed that we have 9 analog days and only
8 digital days. The first weekend is analog and there are a grand total of 5
names filled in for the 36 slots on the sign-up sheet. Except for Friday the
26th (analog) the other analog days have 3-6 names for the whole day. The last
weekend, since it is a holiday weekend, is light even though it's digital but
may fill in as we get closer. One other comment, if we are going to be light on
week days, I would suggest going digital to make it easier to run more trains on
those days. Those of us who show up for those shifts will be bored senseless
running analog all day. My opinions and suggestions.
Gary
