number of things. In the case of ACCRS vs. FTB,
the term means exempt from paying an $800 fee to the FTB each year. Per the notice, we have 90 days to file Form 3500
along with a $25 filing fee---July 24, 2017 if I counted right. The person I talked to instructed us to fill
out the first eight pages plus Section G (Social and Recreational Organization)
of that form. Along with that form, we
need to include a copy of the Articles of Incorporation (a pdf copy is attached) and a set of Bylaws also attached. That filing will start the ball rolling and
further instructions will follow. I was
further told those instructions would include filing Form-199 or Form-199N for
the years of 2010-2016. The version of
Form-199 is determined by some threshold of income or assets. </div>

Perhaps Dennis has that information. I recommend that Dennis and Dean fill in Form-3500 as much as they can, and then have a meeting of Marc, Dennis, and Dean to complete the form. Since Gary has a treasure trove of knowledge of the club, his input would be helpful. If you wish, I am available to assist. Since time is of the essence, perhaps the meeting could occur at the club during Fair time on an evening when the Fair is closed. This is up to Marc.</div>
