If that donation fits into our short and long range plans, then we can accept it. However, philosophically, donated stuff should not drive the plans of the club. In my experience, I have yet to see any donation worth more than a few dollars--definitely not worth revamping the layout over.</div>

<div>If we were to add an N scale component to ACCRS, I see only two options available: 1. take space away from the existing O and HO layouts, or 2. build an extension of the upstairs meeting room over the HO city. I don't see anyone voting for the first option, and the second one is expensive and probably has too many flaws to be viable. </div>

<div>I have a hard time seeing the club making a committment to build a new N scale layout. I have watched the lack of committed help for Andy Kelsey's idea to build in an HOn3 section on the existing HO layout. Why would we expect a much bigger enthusiasm for an N scale layout that only one or two of our current members would work on.</div>
